2nd Stage Küsnacht-Aesch
The second day could be described as a classic transfer stage. Over the Zurich Oberland and through the Canton of Aargau, the route heads towards Aesch BL. However, it would be wrong to underestimate this stage! Here over 2,000 metres of altitude await and it is a constant up and down. The Challpass, which is approached from Laufen, is a tough climb. The final additional lap in Aesch is an extra treat for Challenge participants before they settle down to watch the Pros from the finish area.
