QUESTIONS ABOUT REGISTRATION

  • Until when can I register?
    The registration period will be open until Thursday, 31 March 2022.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE EVENT

  • After finishing the stage must I wait at the finish for the arrival of the Pros?
    If you already wish to go to the hotel there will be shuttle buses available for Challenge participants shortly after finishing the stage.
  • Can I wear my own cycling kit?
    We will provide you with sufficient jerseys and bib shorts. There will also be a washing service mid-week. Whilst it is not forbidden to wear your own jersey, we strongly encourage all participants to wear the official Tour de Suisse Challenge kit whenever possible. Afterall, we want you to look as good as the Pros ๐Ÿ˜‰
  • Do I need to bring spare parts and tools with me?
    Our mechanic service will provide tools and general spare parts such as tubes, tyres and wheels. You will need to bring your own special spare parts and gear chargers.
  • What does the daily schedule look like when the pros compete in a time trial?
    Identical to the other stages, the participants of the TdS Challenge will ride the original course in advance of the pro riders. They will start in groups as usual and itโ€™s still no race (no timekeeping). After the finish, you can watch the time trial of the pros or enjoy a rest in the hotel.
  • Do I still have to complete all the stages, if I am very exhausted or the weather conditions are extremely bad?
    Each participant can decide for him- or herself whether he or she wants to complete the stage each day. If you decide not to do a stage, you can take the shuttle bus directly to the next hotel. There are no refunds for skipped stages.

QUESTIONS ABOUT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

  • What about departure following the final stage?
    In principle, all participants are responsible for their own transport to and from the event (we recommend using public transport). After the 8th stage however a shuttle bus will operate to Zurich airport and Zurich main train station. Shuttle service can be booked on site in June and will be invoiced afterwards.
